Countyfire.org is a site maintained by the Bartholomew County Chiefs Association. It has been designed to provide a way to share information with the public about fire protection and awareness in Bartholomew Counry and the City of Columbus.

Steps:
The easiest way is to contact the station in your township, or the chief in your area. Each department has slightly different methods and forms.
What is involved?
You typically fill out an application for membership, then go through a voting process to become a probationary firefighter. You will then get trained to state level requirements.
How much time?
Each department has various requirements, the chief or membership comittee will discuss this with you.
